The method for diagnosing network fault nodes (NFN) includes following steps: first, based on testing flow routine utilized by engineers to develop automatic testing software to simulate entire procedure from detecting network paths to searching NFN; then, based on each network device node to use selected protocol (TCP,UDP) to accomplish automatic test; based on network connectivity to accomplish diagnosing fault nodes automatically except only address of target network needs to be filled in for entire testing procedure. The method uses ICMP protocol with quick speed for tracking routes first, and then backs up routes tracked by UDP so as to guarantee probability to find complete route. Moreover, being flexible and effective to detect connectivity of nodes, the method can help to diagnose network fault effectively in practical work.
