The rod is stopped by the binding force applied thereon by two ropes which are under tension and disposed at arbitrary positions on the rod. When the rod is in motion, in order to apply a force to slope the rod, one rope under tension has to be further extended to restrain the sloping, so that the rod is always parallel with the roll for pulling out and furling back the blind smoothly.
