Abstract

The invention aims to solve the technical problem of providing a headlamp structure with improved identity and appearance. In the invention, the headlamp is provided with a lampshade (48) for supporting a bulb (53) and a spherical lens (49) covered by the lampshade (48). The lampshade (48) is provided with a reflection surface (54) which can reflect the light emitted by the bulb (53). The reflection surface (54) is roughly shaped like a bowl, and a lateral opening is disposed in the front of a vehicle body in order to enable the light emitted by the bulb (53) to be reflected to the traveling direction of the vehicle body. In addition, the edge part with the reflection surface (54) extends backwards, and the surface opposite to the inner surface of the lens is the extending part (58) of the appearance surface (56). A translucent resin plate (50) is then arranged between the inner surface of the lens (49) and the appearance surface (56).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a headlight structure for illuminating the front of a motorcycle. Background technique [0002] As an example of a conventional headlight structure, a headlight unit is known in which a headlight unit has a cover for supporting a bulb, and a substantially spherical lens covered by the cover. The lampshade is a reflector that reflects light from the bulb. The reflective surface of this reflecting mirror has a substantially spherical shape, and has an extension portion extending rearward along the surface of the lens, and the extension portion serves as an appearance surface (for example, refer to Patent Document 1). [0003] [Patent Document 1] JP-A-2002-205594 [0004] However, in the conventional headlamp structure described above, the reflector is covered by the lens, and the extended portion extending rearward along the surface of the lens becomes an exterior surface that can be directly seen from the outside. A g...
