[0018] According to an embodiment of the present invention, techniques for establishing a transmission scheme include using channel quality information to allocate resource blocks and select antennas. This technique is especially suitable for the case where the base station has sufficient channel quality information available. The first embodiment of the technique is especially applicable in cases where, for each UE, channel quality information, for example in the form of a CQI, is available to the base station on a resource block-by-resource-block and antenna-by-antenna basis. The second embodiment of the technique is especially applicable in cases where the full set of CQIs is not available to the base station, eg when the UE feeds selected CQIs to the base station. Abstract

A technology is used for managing transmission resource in a wireless communication system including a base station and a plurality of mobile stations, wherein, the configuration of the base station is that baseband signals are transmitted from at least two antennae; the technology comprises: resource blocks which can be used for baseband transmission are identified; antennae which can be used for baseband transmission in the base station are identified; a transmission proposal aiming at the mobile stations is established, and is defined in the distribution of the available resource blocks among the mobile stations and the selection of the available antennae.
