Abstract

The invention relates to new medical application of cedrol (CE), in particular to new application thereof in preparing medicaments for relieving pain and treating arthritis. The cedrol is alpha-cedrol, beta-CE or raceme of the two in any proportion, and the total effective dose of the cedrol is between 1 and 100 mg / kg / d. The CE is extracted from natural plants extensive in sources.
