Abstract

The embodiment of the time synchronization method comprises the following steps: a clock client end exchanges a time synchronization signal with a clock server to obtain a clock offset between the clock client end and the clock server; the time synchronization signal is transmitted by a special sub-carrier channel of a wire transmission medium; and a clock of the clock client end is adjusted according to the obtained clock offset.
