The invention discloses a novel method for splitting 2,4,5-dichlorprop enantiomer by utilizing a capillary electrophoresis apparatus, comprising the following steps of: (1) mixing racemic 2,4,5-dichlorprop, an organic modifying agent and an aqueous solution to prepare a sample solution, wherein the organic modifying agent is methanol or acetonitrile; (2) preparing a lauryl sodium sulfate-phosphate buffer solution, adjusting the pH value to be within the range of 2 to 3, then adding a chiral selecting agent gamma-cyclodextrin and controlling the quality final concentration of the gamma-cyclodextrin to be 3 to 5 percent; and (3) putting the sample solution and the lauryl sodium sulfate-phosphate buffer solution containing the gamma-cyclodextrin into the capillary electrophoresis apparatus, and applying a reverse voltage for splitting.
