A method, an equipment and a system for eliminating interference in passive optical network are provided. The method provided by the present invention includes: receiving an optical signal and measuring the characteristic value of the optical signal while registering; judging the optical signal is an interference signal or an optical signal transmitted by an optical network unit, according to the prestored judgment criteria of the optical signal and the characteristic value of the optical signal; registering the optical network unit if the optical signal is an optical signal which is transmitted by an optical network unit; not processing for the interference signal if the optical signal is an interference signal. The present invention solves the problem that the optical network unit is failure to register in passive optical network system, which is caused by the interference signal, so as to the process of detecting the interference signal becomes simple, the precise ratio is improved, and the influence to the passive optical network system by the interference signal is avoided.
