Embodiment Construction

[0018] Such as figure 1 As shown, the present invention includes a beam splitter 1, two optical fiber interference arms 2 containing magneto-optical materials, and a beam combiner 3: the beam splitter 1 divides the input light field equally to two optical fiber interference arms 2A containing magneto-optical materials , the input end of 2B, the optical field transmitted in the two optical fiber interference arms 2A, 2B containing magneto-optical materials has different phase shift delays due to the magneto-optical effect, and the two optical fiber interference arms 2A, 2B containing magneto-optical materials The output terminal of is connected with beam combiner 5, and interference occurs. The phase difference caused by the two optical fiber interference arms can be obtained by measuring the intensity of the interference light field. The phase difference generated when the light propagates in the two optical fiber interference arms is only related to the measured current that...

Abstract

The invention discloses a current sensor based on a magneto-optic nonreciprocal MZ interference structure. The current sensor is based on an MZ interference structure, and is formed in a way that two interference arms are respectively connected with a beam splitter and a beam combiner, wherein magneto-optic material covering layers are respectively embedded in the two bending optical fiber interference arms, and the embedded positions of the two magneto-optic material covering layers should ensure that the light transmission directions are opposite to each other in parallel. By introducing the nonreciprocal phase shift to the MZ structure, the phase difference generated in the transmission of the light in the two optical fiber interference arms works in a nonreciprocal push-pull mode, andthe reciprocal phase shift amount generated by ambient environment factors and the like (such as temperature, stress and the like) is counteracted by the MZ interference structure. By using the nonreciprocal characteristics of the magneto-optic material, combining the interference characteristic of the MZ structure and optimizing the structure parameters, the invention can realize the current detection of high stability and high sensitivity. The invention has the characteristics of popular structure, simple technology, flexible design, strong functionality and the like, and has extensive application prospects and application values in the aspect of current sensing in the complex environment.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an optical current sensor, in particular to a current sensor based on an MZ interference structure with magneto-optical non-reciprocal properties. Background technique [0002] Modern information technology is composed of information collection, transmission and processing technology, so sensor, communication and computer technology have become the three pillars of information technology. Various sensors emerge in an endless stream, becoming an important tool for measuring physical quantities such as temperature, stress, pressure, current and solution refractive index. But these sensors are not only sensitive to a single variable, which brings about a multi-parameter mutual interference problem. For example, when measuring current, changes in temperature, stress, etc. will also cause changes in the reference quantity, which is undesirable. Under normal circumstances, the influence of temperature and stress is often ignored, b...
