The method is applied to the process that a PE (Provider Edge) device configures routing information according to a private network label of a forwarding path issued by a PE at an opposite terminal. The method comprises the steps of: creating a private network label list after receiving the private network label of the forwarding path issued by the PE at the opposite terminal, and adding a list mark of the private network label list into a routing list corresponding to a CE (Customer Edge) device connected with the PE at the opposite terminal; and creating a private network label logic mark sequence list, setting a private network label logic mark corresponding to the forwarding path in the private network label logic mark sequence list to be a mark value for indicating adding a main private network label in a forwarding message or a mark value for indicating adding a spare private network label, and adding the list mark of the private network label logic mark sequence list into the private network label list.
