The automatic inspection device comprises an on-site end and a monitoring end, wherein the on-site end comprises a plurality of cameras which are arranged on the substation, wherein the cameras are arranged in turn according to the inspection route sequence of the substation; and the monitoring end comprises a monitoring device which is connected with a camera signal, wherein the monitoring device receives on-site picture signals which are photographed by the cameras and automatically edits the on-site picture signal into video clips according to the inspection route sequence of the substation.
