Embodiment Construction
[0024] figure 1The basic configuration of an electric BKV as described in DE 102005018649.19, DE 102006059840.7 and DE 102005003648 is shown, the entire disclosure content of which is incorporated into the present application by reference. In a functioning BKV, the pedals are decoupled from the HZ. The pedal force is measured by an unillustrated stroke simulator that produces a customary pedal feel. The pedal travel sensor detects a pedal travel that can be correlated to a desired brake pressure on a characteristic curve. Thus, by actuating brake pedal 1 , a brake booster is activated which acts on plunger piston 3 of master brake cylinder 5 . The floating piston 4 is moved by volume squeeze and pressure. The two pistons 3 and 4 lead to a pressure build-up in the respective brake circuit. The corresponding brake fluid is supplied in a storage container. For details on the construction of known brake master cylinders, reference is made to DE 1020050 18649.19, DE 1020060598...
