The capacitive touch screen writing pen comprises a penholder and pen end, wherein the pen end is provided with a trapezoidal capacitive coupling part which can form a coupling capacitor with a touch screen and is made of an electric conducting material; and the tip of the pen end is positioned in front of the top edge of the trapezoidal capacitive coupling part. The method for positioning the touch spot position of the capacitive touch screen writing pen comprises the following steps of: determining the positions of two trapezoidal bevel edges corresponding to a capacitive coupling surface of the pen end through a touch area obtained on the capacitive touch screen; and deflecting the positions of the trapezoidal bevel edges on the touch screen inwards at distances S1 and S2 to obtain a coordinate position of a crossing point of two straight lines, and the coordinate position is the coordinate of a tip touch spot.
