Abstract

An object is to shorten a time from a start of an adjustment to each adjustment element until best distortion compensation of a power amplifier is obtained. In order to attain the object, an adjustment value for selecting an optimal filter coefficient corresponding to a transmission condition is calculated for each transmission condition in advance. When the transmission condition becomes the certain condition, the adjustment value corresponding to its transmission condition is given to a processing unit that selects the filter coefficient as an initial value. Accordingly, because the adjustment of the filter coefficient is started from the optimal point, a transmission device can shorten the time from the start of the adjustment to each adjustment element until the best distortion compensation of the power amplifier is obtained even when the transmission is restarted after changing the transmission condition.
