The hot melt adhesive comprises the components as follows according to weight proportions: 20 to 50 parts of butyl rubber elastomer, 18 to 32 parts of plasticizer, 15 to 35 parts of tackifier, 12 to 40 parts of filler, 1 to 4 parts of antioxidant and 2 to 8 parts of colorant. Meanwhile, the invention further discloses a preparation method of the hot melt adhesive for the car light.
