Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and user equipment for feeding information back to a network side. The method for feeding information back to the network side comprises the steps: the UE (User Equipment) demodulates DMRS (Data Management and Retrieval System) signals from the received signals according to the positions of the DMRS signals in a coding sequence; the DMRS signals demodulated by the UE are descrambled by utilizing DMRS scrambling sequences of all cells in a CoMP coordination group in which the UE is positioned currently, and the DMRS signals of all the cells inthe coordination group are obtained according to the descrambling result; the power of the DMRS signal of each cell, received by the UE, is calculated, the UE feeds the information of receiving powerof the DMRS signal of each cell back to the network side, and the cell of which the receiving power meets the preset condition is selected by the network side, or the cell of which the receiving power meets the preset condition is directly selected by the UE; and the UE feeds the channel information of the selected cell back to the network side.
