Problems solved by technology

[0003] The invention provides a polyester staple fiber used in the air-jet vortex spinning process. The technical problem to be solved is that the main components of the spinning equipment, such as the vortex tube and the spindle, are not easy to form oil scaling during the spinning process of the fiber. material, thereby reducing the possibility of weak twist in the yarn

[0013] Ordinary polyester tow and special-shaped polyester tow are produced by conventional spinning and post-processing processes. The cross-section of ordinary polyester is circular. Oils, curls and loosens styling. Combine the post-processed tow according to the required ratio, cut off, measure and pack. See Table 1 for the specifications and proportioning of common polyester staple fibers and special-shaped polyester staple fibers of each embodiment.

Abstract

The invention discloses a polyester staple fiber for a Murata vortex spinning (MVS) process. The polyester staple fiber is a mixture of common polyester staple fibers and special-shaped polyester staple fibers, wherein the content of the special-shaped polyester staple fibers is 5 to 15 percent based on fiber number. The sections of the common polyester staple fibers are circular, the sections ofthe special-shaped polyester staple fibers are cross and / or trilobal, and the fineness ratio of the common polyester staple fibers to the special-shaped polyester staple fibers is 1.0: 1.0-1.4. When the polyester staple fiber is used for processing pure yarns by the MVS process, oil scales on main components such as a vortex tube, a spindle and the like in spinning equipment are obviously reduced, the defect that weak twist is easily produced is effectively overcome, the cleaning period of main spinning components is prolonged, and the production efficiency of the spun yarns is greatly improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a polyester staple fiber, in particular to a polyester staple fiber specially used in an air-jet vortex spinning process. Background technique [0002] Air-jet vortex spinning (MVS) is a new generation of spinning technology developed on the basis of traditional air-jet spinning (MJS). When MVS is spinning, the sliver is sucked into the vortex tube by the negative-pressure airflow, and the fiber rotates at high speed in the tube. The vortex twisting of the free end is realized under the action of the airflow. MVS has many advantages such as fast speed, high output, short process and high production rate. Although both MVS yarn and MJS yarn have a double-layer structure of core fiber and wrapping fiber, the yarn forming mechanism of MVS determines that the fiber can be tightly wrapped. Twisting, MVS yarn has a much higher proportion of outsourcing fibers, but the amount of hairiness is much lower than that of MJS yarn, so the s...
