Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a registration method and a registration system of machine type communications (MTC) equipment. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a first registration request message sent by 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) network equipment, wherein the first registration request message comprises identification information of an MTC terminal and is sent by the 3GPP network equipment according to a second registration request message sent by the corresponding MTC equipment which receives the identification information of the MTC terminal, and the second registration request message comprises the identification information of the MTC terminal; and returning a registration accept message to the MTC equipment through the 3GPP network equipment according to the first registration request message, wherein the registration accept message comprises the identification information of the MTC terminal. In the embodiment of the invention, the MTC terminal is triggered to send data by a network side according to the information of the MTC terminal in a network triggering mode to ensure normal operation of MTC service.
