Abstract

The present invention provides a continuous punching device for a sheet metal strip, and belongs to the technology field of sheet metal strip cold working. A velocity measurement encoder arranged on a pinch roll is used for detecting the forward velocity of the sheet metal strip, and a PLC controller is used for processing received signals and sending regulatory signals to a proportional flow control valve so as to regulate the flow rate of pressure oil that enters a horizontal oil cylinder, making the forward velocity of a slide carriage being synchronous with the forward velocity of the sheet metal strip. In the forward moving process of the slide carriage, a vertical oil cylinder above the slide carriage drives a punching cutting tool to make a reciprocating movement under the control of a reversing valve so as to realize punching of the sheet metal strip. A speed ratio transforming device connected with the pinch roll drives two coaxially-arranged cams to rotate so as to make the reversing frequencies of two reversing valves being automatically adaptable to the motion velocity variation of the sheet metal strip, thus equal interval punching is guaranteed. The device is mainly used for a self-adapting high frequency continuous punching of solid strips such as the sheet metal strip, a plastic strip, etc.
