Abstract

The invention provides a leakage early-warning device, which comprises a constant current source, a measuring unit, an alarming unit, a controller and a power source unit. The constant current source is connected with a metal shell of electrical equipment to be detected and is used for flowing constant current to the metal shell. The measuring unit is used for measuring voltage at a grounding terminal of a local power source and a voltage difference between the metal shell and the grounding terminal. The controller is used for driving the alarming unit to generate early warning when the voltage at the grounding terminal is zero or the voltage difference between the metal shell and the grounding terminal is greater than a predetermined value, so as to prevent an electric safety accident. The power source unit is used for providing working voltage for the constant current source, the measuring unit, the alarming unit and the controller. The invention also provides a socket with the leakage early-warning device.
