The invention provides an interface testing assisting device which is used for assisting in testing of an SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) interface on a board to be tested. The interface testing assisting device comprises an internal memory, a power supply unit, a processor and at least one testing SATA interface used for connection with the SATA interface on the board to be tested. The power supply unit provides the internal memory and the processor with power. The internal memory is connected with the processor which is connected with the testing SATA interface. Furthermore, the processor is used for receiving serial data from the board to be tested through the testing SATA interface and the SATA interface on the board to be tested and converting the serial data into parallel data as well as writing the parallel data into the internal memory, and for reading out the data in the internal memory and converting the data into a serial signal and outputting the serial signal to the board to be tested via the testing SATA interface and the SATA interface on the board to be tested. According to the interface testing assisting device disclosed in the invention, the circumstance of influencing the testing effect due to vibration can be prevented by replacing the internal memory free of the influence of vibration for a testing SATA hard disk, and the testing cost can be reduced.
