Abstract

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a system, a device and a method for monitoring a distributed antenna system. The system comprises: an inquiry device which is arranged at and electrically connected with an information source end of the distributed antenna system; and a response device which is arranged at an antenna end of the distributed antenna system and coupled with each of the antennas, wherein the response device comprises identification information corresponding to antenna branches which are associated with the response device, the inquiry device is used for sending a monitoring signal to the response device through the distributed antenna system, the response device is activated by receiving the monitoring signal; then a response signal is sent back to the inquiry device through the distributed antenna system, wherein the response signal carries the identification information and status information of the monitoring signal received by the response device; and the inquiry device receives the response signal, then determines states of the antenna branches corresponding to the identification information according to the identification information and the status information of the monitoring signal received by the response device. By adopting the embodiment of the present invention, the problem that working conditions of the plurality of antenna branches in the distributed antenna system are difficult to monitor remotely can be solved, thus monitoring for the plurality of antenna branches can be realized quickly and efficiently with a low cost, thereby enabling the user to monitor the working condition of each the antenna branch in the distributed antenna system remotely.
