Abstract

The invention relates to an intelligent detection-control system and method for air purifiers. The system comprises an intake fan; an inlet detection unit, an air purification unit and an outlet detection are connected to the rear of the intake fan in order; both the inlet detection unit and the outlet detection unit are connected with an analysis unit; the analysis unit is connected with the air purification unit and the intake fan through a control cable. The method includes: detecting quality of air at an inlet; detecting quality of air at an outlet; processing two data sets from the inlet detection unit and the outlet detection unit, updating control parameters of the air purification unit and the intake fan according to processing results and transmitting control commands to the air purification unit and the intake fan. The intelligent detection-control system and method for air purifiers has the advantages that processing effect of the air purification unit can be calibrated quantitatively, air ventilation and operating parameters of the air purification unit are controlled accordingly, and advices for maintenance work such as whether replacing a filter element needs to be replaced or not can be provided for users.
