The system comprises a first-level ore concentrate storage groove, a second-level ore concentrate storage groove, a main electrically operated valve, a standby electrically operated valve, a second-level ore concentration automatic flow inclined pipe, a second-level ore concentration automatic flow pipe, a core concentration main pipeline, a concentration meter and a first-level ore concentration outlet pipeline. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a concentration value which is measured by the concentration meter to a PLC (programmable logic controller); closing the main electrically operated valve if the second-level ore concentration is confirmed so that the ore pulp flows upwards intothe second-level ore concentrate storage groove through the second-level ore concentration automatic flow inclined pipe; and opening the main electrically operated valve if the arrival of second-level ore concentration pulp tail is confirmed or the first-level ore concentration is about to be stored, so that the ore pulp flows downward into the first-level ore concentrate storage groove.
