Abstract

An online repair method of a gas pipe corrugation compensator is mainly applied for the repair of a corrugation compensator on a gas overhead pipeline. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: (1) firstly stopping leaking of a leak source of the compensator; (2) selecting a new compensator which is the same as the old compensator in shape and wave number but 200 mm greater than the oldcompensator in diameter, and then averagely cutting the new compensator into eight pieces of repair materials, wherein a bleeder is welded in a wave peak in the vicinity of a cut outside one piece ofrepair material, which is 2 m higher than the wave peak; and (3) jointing the eight pieces of repair materials in field and nesting the repair materials to the periphery of the old compensator, wherein the repair material with the bleeder is sleeved to the topmost side of the preceding compensator (ensuring the bleeder to be in a vertical state). A continuous weld is employed for welding; during the welding, nitrogen is introduced into the cavity of the new compensator and the pressure of the nitrogen is 0.6 MPa; a flow rate is decided by the calibre of a pipe in which nitrogen is introduced and then coke oven gas is evicted. The online repair method disclosed by the invention cannot cause stopping of a pipeline to affect production.
