Abstract

The present invention provides an inhaler device (1) for dispensing a dose of a medicament, the inhaler comprising means for receiving a compartment (42) containing a medicament; and for receiving in the received compartment (42) a drug extraction facilitating device (22) positioned so as to permit extraction of drug from said compartment (42); wherein said extraction facilitating device (22) includes (i) extending therethrough for directing the extracted drug to a first fluid passage of the outlet of the inhaler (1), and (ii) means providing, in use, a second fluid passage for passing fluid through a compartment pierced by said extraction-facilitating means (22) The sealing material of ( 42 ) leads into said compartment ( 42 ).
