Benefits of technology

This technology allows for efficient transferring data among different types of computer networks while maintain their compatibility across platforms or devices. By utilizing XML instead of traditional methods like HTTP (hypertext transport) when exchanging data, this new way makes it easier for embedding applications to connect directly into existing servers without requiring expensive equipment. Additionally, the invention simplifies the interface between these two environments making them more accessible than previous solutions. Overall, this innovation improves both high costs and ease of implementation compared to current technologies.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem addressed in this patent relating to current embedding database access techniques have drawbacks including lacking flexibility when connecting multiple hardware components due to limited memory capacity; requiring separate servers for each component's function; insufficiently supporting client requests without AJAX capabilities during execution; difficulty achieving full transparency across distributed computing resources like Java Card Platform Interface (JCAPI).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method of data exchange between an embedded device and a remote database, belonging to the technical field of data communications. The method comprises the following steps: the embedded device generates a request for accessing the remote database, and processes the request for accessing the remote database into an SQL (structured query language) instruction packet with a preset format; a middleware establishes the communication connection, issues the request for connecting a database server and performs the required access operation according to an instruction extracted from the SQL instruction packet; the middleware receives the operation result which is returned by the database, and transmits the packaged XML (extensible makeup language) document to the embedded device; and the embedded device receives and stores the packaged XML data. The XML is taken as a medium in the method of the data exchange between the embedded system and the remote database provided by the invention, the data exchange is finished under the condition of not influencing the data information of the remote database, thus an embedded database user can conveniently interact the datawith the remote database, and the cross-platform seamless connection between heterogeneous systems is realized.
