Problems solved by technology

[0008] First of all, since the measurement data is usually attached to the data frame or data packet of the system under test to be transmitted, it is inevitable to go through encoding compression, encapsulation, decapsulation, decoding and other links in the middle, and the measurement data may be lost or damaged in the process of encoding compression and decompression ;
[0009] Secondly, since the data format, encapsulation format, encoding compression and decoding algorithms of the system under test may not be publicly available, it will be difficult for testers to design matching measurement methods and measurement signals
[0010] Third, intrusive measurement methods usually require connecting taps or junctions in series on the signal data path of the system under test. For the system under test that has been installed, it is usually cumbersome or not allowed at all.
[0013] Although subjective evaluation using human eyes and ears is very intuitive, there are large errors, especially when the end-to-end delay parameters of the two systems under test are relatively close, it is difficult to make a scientific and accurate judgment, resulting in Measurement results are not convincing

Abstract

The invention provides an audio frequency end-to-end time delay measurement method of non-intrusive single end acquisition and an apparatus thereof. The audio frequency end-to-end time delay measurement method comprises the following steps: placing a measurement signal generator locally, closing an echo elimination function of a far-end terminal, taking a microphone close to a loudspeaker at a far end to form an audio frequency loop. One audio frequency measuring signal emitted by the signal generator directly enters into a measurement apparatus, and the other audio frequency measuring signal enters into a local terminal of a detected system, and both of them returns through a remote terminal audio frequency loop respectively. Delay inequalities of the two signals are divided by 2, and a result is taken as a measured value of audio frequency end-to-end time delay. The measurement apparatus provided in the invention comprises an audio frequency measuring signal generator, an audio frequency multipath acquisition module, an audio frequency time delay measurement unit and a data storage and display unit. The method is a non-intrusive type. Compared with the prior art, the method is not influenced by internal realization of the detected system, time delay of all link are included comprehensively, and the method has the characteristics of accuracy and convenience.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to computer multimedia information dissemination and QoS service quality measurement, in particular to a method and device for measuring audio end-to-end time delay of non-intervention single-end acquisition. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development and popularization of network-based multimedia business applications, systems such as network audio and video on demand and network audio and video conferencing are rapidly becoming popular. Users have higher and higher requirements on the QoS service quality of network multimedia services. How to evaluate the key QoS parameters of candidate products quickly, conveniently and accurately is the key to successfully selecting the best product. [0003] At the same time, manufacturers who develop and produce network multimedia services and systems also need a device that can easily and quickly measure the key parameters of their own network multimedia products, so that key...
