Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-tenancy (MT) application system, and discloses a device and a method for processing a materialized table in a MT application system. In the MT application system, a plurality of tenants share one or more than one of basic tables (BTs). The device comprises an update mode analyzer, a tenant grouping device and a materialized table constructor, wherein, the update mode analyzer is used for analyzing the similarity degree of the update modes of one or more than one of the BTs for the plurality of the tenants according to data access historical information of the plurality of the tenants; the tenant grouping device is used for dividing the plurality of the tenants into a plurality of tenant groups according to the similarity degree analyzed by the update mode analyzer; and the materialized table constructor is used for constructing the tenant group materialized table corresponding to the tenant groups by one or more than one of the BTs according to the tenant groups divided by the tenant grouping device.
