Abstract

An electrically controlled closed-type hydraulic steering system and a vehicle with the same are disclosed. The system comprises a hydraulic steering device including a steering assist cylinder (20), a variable displacement pump (10) which directly provides hydraulic oil to the steering assist cylinder (20) through a main oil circuit, and a controller (60) signally connected with the pump (10). The output flow and the oil channel direction of the pump (10) are controlled by electric signals, and the controller (60) calculates the output flow of the pump (10) and determines the oil channel direction thereof based on signals of vehicle conditions and wheel steering requirements so as to output the electric signal for controlling the pump (10). The system achieves a closed-type hydraulic control for vehicle steering according to the principle of cylinder controlled by pump. Providing hydraulic power based on steering requirements, the system makes best use of output power of an engine or driving elements, satisfies energy saving requirements, decreases system elements, facilitates to optimize vehicle arrangements and reduce weight, and is suitable for the steering control of various engineering machinery vehicles or special vehicles.
