Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides an automatic configuration method and a system as well as a network node. The automatic configuration method comprises: the network node in a BVLAN (backbone virtual local area network) receives IS-IS (intermediate system to intermediate system routing protocol) messages sent by other network nodes in the BVLAN; and the network node confirms the priority of the network node in the BVLAN; the network node transmits unified configuration information in the BVLAN according to the priority of the network node, wherein the unified configuration information is information required to be configured on each network node in the BVLAN. According to the embodiment of the invention, the network nodes can be automatically configured so as to improve the speed and accuracy of configuration.
