Benefits of technology

This technology improves how well an automobile's headrest meets its needs when it collides with another object during accidents or crashes by making sure that there are no harming things like people inside them while still providing enough space for passengers to move around within their seat without getting hurt from hitting any objects on either side.

Problems solved by technology

Technologies described in this patents aim towards reducing the risk of injury caused by head crashes compared to traditional cars without adding padding. One solution involves making certain portions of the crashworthy zone stronger but less flexible. Another approach suggests connecting different sections together instead of just two segments. These designs help balance the forces generated within both zones and enhance their ability to protect passengers. Additionally, some previous solutions involve adjustments made based upon factors like weight distribution, shock loads, and road conditions such as inclination angle.

Embodiment Construction

[0026] In order to make the technical means, creative features, goals and effects achieved by the present invention easy to understand, the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with specific illustrations.

[0027] Front longitudinal beam structure of the present invention such as figure 1 , figure 2 As shown, it mainly includes four sections of structure: the first section 1a of the longitudinal beam is the front section of the front longitudinal beam, which is the area where the front longitudinal beam deforms first when the collision occurs; the second section 1b of the longitudinal beam is the non-deformable area; the third section of the longitudinal beam Section 1c is a region with variable strength, which can be deformed during collision; the fourth section 1d of the stringer is a non-deformable region.

[0028] The front longitudinal beam structure is longitudinally arranged in the engine compartment of the automobile, the front end is co...

Abstract

The invention discloses a front longitudinal beam structure for automobiles, in particular discloses a novel front longitudinal beam structure adaptive to impacting energy absorption of automobiles. In the invention, the front longitudinal beam structure is divided into four segments as follows: the first segment is a front longitudinal beam foremost segment which is subjected to deformation firstly on the front longitudinal beam during impacting, a second segment is an indeformable segment, a third segment is a strength-variable segment and can be subjected to deformation during impacting, and the fourth segment is an indeformable segment in which a destructible filling material is filled. Compared with the traditional front longitudinal beam structure, by adopting the front longitudinal beam structure in the invention, the energy absorption capability of the front longitudinal beam can be improved, the automobile body invasion amount can be reduced, the acceleration of front impact of an automobile can be reduced, and the safety of the front impact of the automobile can be improved effectively.
