The device comprises a combined probe including a laser waveguide probe and a nanosecond electro-pulse lithotripter probe. The method includes applying the laser waveguide probe to the surface of the concretion, and treating the surface with laser radiation to create a defect. The method also includes applying the nanosecond electro-pulse lithotripter probe to the area of the defect created by the laser waveguide probe, to provide a spark electrical discharge through the concretion.

A fencing system is constructed with thin-walled generally rectangular tubing. The large cross-section of the rectangular tubing provides significant structural strength. The posts can also be formed into rectangular cross-sections to achieve similar cross-sectional strength. The posts are provided with openings for the rails to be inserted. The safety control assembly (10) of the present invention improves the crashworthiness response and effectiveness of the vehicle (12,14) and reduces the likelihood of injury of the driver and the passengers by diminishing a risk of an electrical shock to the passengers of the vehicle (12,14) and those trying to rescue the passengers injured during the collision.
