System and method for software diagnostics using a combination of visual and dynamic tracing

A software system is disclosed that provides remote troubleshooting and tracing of the execution of computer programs. The software system allows a remote software developer or help desk person to troubleshoot computer environment and installation problems such as missing or corrupted environment variables, files, DLLs, registry entries, and the like. In one embodiment the software system includes an information-gathering module that gathers run-time information about program execution, program interaction with the operating system and the system resources. The information-gathering module also monitors user actions and captures screen output. The information-gathering module passes the gathered information to an information-display module. The information-display module allows a support technician (e.g., a software developer, a help desk person, etc.) to see the user interactions with the program and corresponding reactions of the system. In one embodiment, the information-display module allows the support technician to remotely view environment variables, file access operations, system interactions, and user interactions that occur on the user's computer and locate failed operations that cause execution problems

On-site media trailer

A media or recorded event editing and screening trailer provides portable means by which editing and screening equipment can be brought on-site or otherwise to provide greater efficiency and less delay in processing film or other media. A large trailer such as that used in tractor/trailer rigs provides the basis for a combined facility incorporating a projection room, a screening area, several editing consoles, a refreshment area, an equipment area, a foyer, and an editing area. Slideouts provide increased interior volume space for greater working comfort yet are sturdy and stable both in their deployed and collapsed conditions. For travel, the slideouts slide into the interior of the trailer in order to provide a minimal exterior displacement conforming with interstate highway regulations, and/or the like. Doors with stairs descending and making transition to the ground are provided on each side of the trailer. Satellite or other wireless transmission communications processing equipment can accompany the digital or other editing equipment held securely within the confines of the trailer. A generator or the like generating power at approximately 20-25 kilowatts with a 50-gallon fuel reservoir allows the on-site media trailer of the present invention to attain some self-sufficiency. Alternative embodiments of the present invention include a container-like shell with removable wheels or the like, making the trailer more modular and transportable.

Apparatus and method for analysing events from sensor data by optimisation

The present invention relates to sensor signal analysis. It relates particularly, but not exclusively, to methods, systems and devices for monitoring and processing the sensor signals to determine automatically characteristics of events represented by the sensor signals. The present invention is particularly, but not exclusively, related to methods, systems and devices for monitoring moisture in absorbent articles such as diapers, incontinence garments, dressings and pads resulting from wetness events caused by, for example, urinary and/or faecal incontinence. In an embodiment, the invention includes a method for processing sensor signals representing an event in an absorbent article. The method comprises: receiving sensor signals from a sensor representing one or more events in an absorbent article; and processing the sensor signals to determine a characteristic of at least one event in the absorbent article. One such characteristic can include the volume of a voiding event such as a urinary incontinence event. In another embodiment, the method includes carrying out a learning phase including the steps of: receiving sensor signals representing one or more events in each of one or more absorbent articles; receiving observation data indicative of a cumulative characteristic of the one or more events in each absorbent article; and identifying an optimal mathematical model describing a relationship between the sensor signals and the observation data. Such events can include urinary incontinence events occurring in absorbent articles such as diapers. Observation data can be measured cumulative volume of a cycle of voiding events occurring in a diaper.
