The technical scheme of the bus line inquiry method is that when the passengers requests bus line inquiries, the operating parameters such as waiting time at the starting station, waiting time for arriving at the terminal station, traffic jam time, ticket price and other information of each optional bus line can be fed back to the passengers, and line information for changing different kinds of traffic tools can be supplied to the passengers. The passengers can click points on an electronic map of a mobile communication terminal to achieve input work, thereby greatly facilitating operation of users.
