Abstract

The present invention provides a connecting ring which does not harm appearance and can improve manufacturability. The connecting ring (1) is provided with the following components: a body (10) which is provided with an opening (11) and is formed to an approximate C-shaped member by synthetic resin; and a closing part (20), wherein one end (20A) in a length direction is axially supported on the body (10) through a rotatable mode, and the other end (20B) in a length direction rotates in a contactable / separatable mode relative to the body (10), thereby opening / closing the opening (11). One end (10A) of the body (10) at the opening (11) is provided with an axial supporting part (12) which axially supports the closing part (20) through a rotatable mode. An arc-shaped elastic sheet (15) projects integrally at a position on the body (10), which is provided a position of an internal circumference (10C) when compared with the axial supporting part (12). The elastic sheet is thinned to the front end. The elastic sheet (15) elastically presses the other end (20B) of the closing part (20) from the internal circumference (10C) to the outer circumference (10D) of the body (10). Mutually separated incised notches (16) are provided between the axial supporting part (12) and the elastic sheet (15). The elastic sheet (15) is accommodated in the closing part (20). Furthermore the closing part (20) is provided with an elongated dent part (25) for abutting against the front end of the elastic sheet (15).
