The present invention discloses a method for realizing multicast in the shared network comprising: receiving the multicast program request from a terminal device,updating the entry corresponding to the multicast program requsted by the terminal device in the corresponding relationship table of the multicast program and the terminal device, wherein the corresponding relationship table of the multicast program and the terminal device comprises a plurality of relationship entries,each entry is respectively corresponding to different multicast programs and comprises the terminal device identification information of the requested multicast program,providing the identification information of the terminal device in the multicast program and the updated relationship table to each terminal device, wherein the identification information of the terminal device is used for instruting whether each terminal device receives the multicast program.
