The production method for the fertilizer comprises the following steps of: 1, preparing a sustained-release nitrogen fertilizer or a sustained-release phosphorus potassium fertilizer; 2, uniformly mixing a base fertilizer, the sustained-release nitrogen fertilizer or the sustained-release phosphorus potassium fertilizer, organic matters and trace element materials; and 3, granulating, drying and sieving the uniformly mixed materials by using the conventional method to obtain the organic-inorganic sustained-release compound fertilizer.
