The invention provides a searching method, which comprises the following steps of: setting characteristic time points for key words with time node characteristics in a search word bank; receiving a searching request of a user, and simultaneously retrieving current time of the user; locating characteristic time points corresponding to the key words in the searching request in the search word bank; expanding the searching request to generate an expanded searching request according to the relation between the current time of the user and the characteristic time points; searching according to the expanded searching request to obtain a searching result; and outputting the searching result.
