Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt a plurality of IC cards having compatibility and different sizes to a terminal device, without increasing the size of the terminal device. SOLUTION: An IC card mounting unit 101 comprises a card adapter 201 and a card connector 301. An IC card 401 is fitted into the card adapter 201. The card connector 301 has an opening 302 into which the card adapter 201 is slidingly inserted, and a facing part 312 which faces the card adapter 201 that has been slidingly inserted. The card adapter 201 has a detachment prevention part 204A for preventing the detachment of the fitted IC card 401. The detachment prevention part 204A includes a center rib part 204 and a side rib part 205 which support the IC card 401 arranged over and fitted to a fitting part 203 in such a manner as not to impede contact between a pad part and a contact of the IC card 401. The card connector 301 is provided with a retreat part for forming a space region through which the detachment prevention part 204A is passed.
