[0064] The third embodiment of the hemostatic device also includes a locking system 218 relative to the first embodiment.

[0065] Locking system 218 includes ring 220 and anti-lockout 222 . Ring 220 is located in the annular space between flange 22 and extension 34 .

[0066] Ring 220 includes a cylindrical inner ring 224 and a toothed crown 226 . Ring 220 is a separate component. Ring 220 is made of a copolymer such as ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene). The ring 224 and the toothed crown 226 extend coaxially about the longitudinal axis X-X. A toothed crown 226 surrounds the ring 224 . This ring protrudes perpendicularly from the toothed crown 226 towards the knob 18 to form a flange 228 . The ring 224 has, on its part facing the base 10, a protruding inner edge 230 which functions similarly to the corresponding edge 64 of the knob 18 of the first embodiment: by cooperating with the clip 26 of the base, the edge 230 blocks the ring 220 translates along the longitudi...

Abstract

The invention relates to a device capable of stopping the bleeding caused by the withdrawal of an injector stuck into an injection area of a patient. The device comprises: a base (10); a supporting means (16) capable of temporarily attaching the base (10) to the patient; an applicator (12) supported by the base and provided with a transparent pad (14); and a screw-and-nut adjustment means capable of moving the applicator (12) toward the injection area so that the applicator (12) moves to a position where the pad exerts pressure on the injection area. The screw-and-nut system is located completely outside the diameter of the transparent pad (14). The invention can be used for angiography and angioplasty operations.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a compression haemostatic device of the type described in the subject matter of claim 1 . The device is particularly suitable for radial artery hemostasis without impeding venous return and without compressing the ulnar artery after procedures such as angiography or angioplasty. Background technique [0002] Certain medical imaging methods require medical procedures that include injecting a radiographic contrast product into the patient's blood system. The contrast agent is injected by a catheter threaded into a syringe that inserts into the blood vessel and ensures that the device seals. For example, a syringe is placed on the inner surface of the patient's wrist to inject the fluid from the radial artery. Once the procedure is complete, removal of the syringe while limiting bleeding requires application of sufficient pressure at the point where the puncture is made (in an area known as the injection / puncture zone). Compres...
