Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent terminal-oriented progressive network adaptive transmission method. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) performing meshing and compression processing on a three dimensional (3D) data flow to be transmitted, generating a progressive network which consists of a base network and a series of level offset vectors, and dividing geometry data into an important part and a secondary part according to the influence degree of the geometry data on model quality; 2) detecting the display and render capability of a receiving terminal, monitoring communication channel conditions, and selecting a minimum data set which can meet a mobile terminal for transmission; 3) dividing the base network and the important part of the geometry data into different data packets, and transmitting the data packets by utilizing a transmission channel of a transmission control protocol (TCP); and dividing the secondary part of the geometry data into different data packets, and transmitting the data packets by utilizing a transmission channel of a user datagram protocol (UDP); and 4) receiving the data packets by the receiving terminal, and reconstructing the 3D data flow by a packet construction module. The method has the advantages of real-time performance and good graph quality.
