The invention discloses a processing method of a T-shaped single-core inlaid optical cable of a photoelectric compound wire, which includes the following steps of: processing a round aluminum sheath on an outer protection layer of the optical cable through argon arc welding in a manner that the optical cable can slightly shrinks under cold or expands under heat longitudinally within the minimum outer diameter of the round aluminum sheath; longitudinally wrapping the round aluminum sheath through an aluminium tape for a second time and longitudinally wrapping and welding the optical cable provided with the aluminum sheath in the aluminium tape through argon arc welding in a manner that a margin is left; according to the size of the T shape of the single core of the overhead wire, drawing the optical cable provided with the aluminum sheath longitudinally wrapped by the aluminium tape through a plurality of moulds until desired size for the T shape is obtained; and twisting the T-shaped unit optical cable with other units of the overhead wire to obtain a finished product of photoelectric compound overhead wire. With the processing method, the optical cable can linearly expand and shrink freely and the quality of the signals transmitted by the optical cable from a long distance can be ensured.
