Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for storage and reduction of CDR (calling detail records) process packets. The method includes steps of distributing original packet identity (ID) codes for each acquired original packets; decoding protocol stacks; in a protocol layer with PDU (protocol data unit) reorganization, recording organization relation between reorganized PDU and an information packet before PDU reorganization in the protocol layer; and storing data comprising the ID of the original packets and the organization relations as CDR process packets. The method and the device solve the problems of inaccurate storage and excessive occupancy of storage spaces of the CDR process packets in the prior art, and realize accurate and space-saving storage of the CDR process packets.
