Abstract

A gear arrangement for a rail vehicle with at least one spur gear stage in a housing is proposed (4), wherein one of the spur gears (1) of the spur gear stage delivers oil through an engaging part (9) and at least assigns to an oil pan (5) at least in sections, and the oil pan (5) is connected with an oil sump (19) arranged in the housing (4). The oil pan (5) is provided with at least one suction opening (10) for suction of the circulating oil. The oil pan (5) has at least one oil guide device which is assigned to at least one suction opening (10) at least in sections, so that oil flowing into the oil pan (5) through the suction opening (10) can be led to an inner space of the housing (4), the inner space leading to the oil sump (19).
