Abstract

The invention provides a power supply device for a converter valve of a static var generator. The power supply device comprises a high-frequency constant-current power supply, a high-voltage cable, power supply circuit boards and power supply current transformers. An input end of the high-frequency constant-current power supply is connected with a 380V alternating-current power supply, and the 380V alternating-current power supply is rectified and inverted into high-frequency constant currents. An output end of the high-frequency constant-current power supply is in short circuit through the high-voltage cable. The high-voltage cable penetrates through the N feed-through power supply current transformers which are arranged on the converter valve of the static var generator in a series connection manner, wherein the N is larger than or equal to integer of 1. A secondary side of each power supply current transformer is connected with one corresponding power supply circuit board on the converter valve of the static var generator. The power supply circuit boards convert high-frequency currents into stable direct-current voltage so as to supply a working power supply for an IGBT (insulated gate bipolar translator) drive circuit and a protective circuit on the converter valve of the static var generator. The power supply device is free of high-voltage current transformers, and accordingly is small in size and low in cost.
