The data presentation system comprises a data persistence layer, a controller, an asynchronous refresh display module, a data drawing module, a tabular display module, a distributed data warehouse unit and a user interface, wherein the asynchronous refresh display module is used for responding a user operation and transmitting an operation request to the controller; the controller invokes the data persistence layer; the data persistence layer acquires data from the distributed data warehouse unit; data is transmitted to the asynchronous refresh display module in a stated format through the controller; and the asynchronous refresh display module sends the data to the data drawing module and the tabular display module respectively, so that a page locally refreshes to display the data. The data presentation method comprises the following steps: sending a refreshing dimension information request to the controller through the user interface by a user; invoking the data persistence layer to take dimension information data out from the distributed data warehouse unit by the controller; and invoking the data drawing module or the tabular display module for displaying according to a formed selected by the user.
