Abstract

The invention discloses MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) equipment and a method for determining a radio-frequency coil position and selecting a radio-frequency coil. The method comprises the following steps of: providing a corresponding relation table between moving time and moving distance of a movable bracket, and storing the corresponding relation table in the MRI equipment; arranging a coil marker at a first preset position on the radio-frequency coil; arranging a detector for detecting the coil marker at a second preset position in the MRI equipment, wherein when the coil marker moves with the movable bracket and passes through the detector, the detector can detect the coil marker; recoding the time thatwhen the coil marker is detected; looking up the corresponding relation table according to the time to determine the distance corresponding to the time; and determining the position of the radio-frequency coil or the positions of coil subparts forming the radio-frequency coil according to the determined distance and information related to the first preset position and the second preset position.
