Guide members (4, 5) for guiding a mover (2) in the direction of movement thereof are provided to a stator (1) so as to respectively face guide bars (21, 22) which are provided to the side surfaces of the mover (2) extending in the longitudinal direction thereof. One end of a shaft section (40, 50) of the guide member (4, 5) is provided with two support rings (41, 42; 51, 52) fitted thereto at a spacing in such a manner that the two support rings (41, 42; 51, 52) face each other in the direction of the axis of the shaft section (40, 50) and can rotate individually. The support rings (41, 42; 51, 52) support, at tapered support surfaces thereof located at ends of opposing surfaces thereof, a side surface of the guide bar (21, 22), the side surface extending in the longitudinal direction of the guide bar (21, 22). The guide member (5) is provided, at one end of the shaft section (50) thereof, with an eccentric shaft section (53) extending in the axial direction and eccentric to the axis of the shaft section (50).
