Autonomous remaining useful life estimation equipment interacts with the operator through natural speech, voice and sound and provides active failure prevention through automatic and/or continuous remaining useful life estimation of a material under evaluation. The equipment comprises at least one computer and a material features acquisition system operable to detect a plurality of material features. The features are then evaluated according to rules that capture the multidiscipline knowledge of experts and are already inputted into the computer. The computer iterations are processed until an acceptable conclusion is made regarding the condition of the material under evaluation, thus alleviating the need for multidiscipline experts to examine and analyze all the material data manually, a very slow and expensive process. The invention relates to a detection method of a commutation failure of a direct-current power transmission system. For a converter station, a converter extinction angle gamma provided by a system is calculated, the converter extinction angle gamma provided by the system is compared with a minimum extinction angle value gamma min that is needed by the converter itself so as to determine whether a criterion of gamma being larger than gamma min is met; a maximum voltage time area Sv provided by an alternating-current line voltage and a commutation area S needed by the converter during the commutation process are calculated, and whether a criterion of Sv being larger than S is met is determined; and as long as one of the criteria is met, occurrence of a commutation failure at the system is determined. According to the invention, the extinction angles and the commutation area are used for determination and the commutation process of the multi-infeed direct-current power transmission system can be reflected simultaneously, visual, and completely from two aspects. Phenomena of voltage drop and voltage distortion can be detected accurately and thus the occurrence trend of the commutation failure can be detected, thereby providing the basis for the protection strategy of the converter. And a reference frame is also provided for commutation failure prevention measures like reactive compensation.

The invention provides a method for estimating local fatigue strength of gears according to residual stress distribution at gear roots. The method comprises the following steps of: testing residual stress distribution and bending fatigue strength of a gear under at least three shot blasting process states; obtaining a quantitative relationship coefficient between a residual stress value and bending fatigue strength according to the test result and a Goodman relationship; and designing reasonable local fatigue strength of the gear according to the quantitative relationship coefficient, and back-stepping required residual stress distribution and a reasonable shot blasting process for realizing the distribution, or predicting a bending fatigue failure mode of existing gear products so as to formulate reasonable prevention measures and improve the shot blasting strengthening process. According to the method, quantitative association between residual stress distribution at roots of gears and local bending fatigue strength is established, and a concept of local fatigue strength is innovatively put forward, so that residue stress can quantitatively enter the design stage of the gear products through being taken as mechanical parameters, and the reasonable shot blasting strengthening process is back-stepped. Meanwhile, bending fatigue failure forms of existing gears are analyzed and pre-judged, so that directions are provided for failure prevention and the shot blasting process.

The invention relates to a method and system for estimating a commutation failure prevention effect of a synchronous phase modulation machine on line-commutator-converter high voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC). The method comprises the steps of calculating an initial short-circuit ratio of an AC system at an inversion side of a DC system; maintaining the initial short-circuit ratio of the AC system at the inversion side unchanged, putting to the synchronous phase modulation machine, and performing simulation to obtain a preset fault inductance value corresponding to commutation phase failure probability of an LCC-HVDC system; removing the synchronous phase modulation machine under the corresponding preset fault inductance value, and calculating the changed short-circuit ratio of the AC system at the inversion side of the DC system; and performing calculation to obtain commutation failure probability-based short-circuit increment according to the initial short-circuit ratio and the changed short-circuit ratio. With the method provided by the technical scheme, the problem of shortage of an index measuring commutation failure prevention capability of the LCC-HVDC system and having actual engineering significance is solved.
